Recently, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Nanshan District, Shenzhen announced the list of Innovative SMEs in 2024, PolarisIC Microelectronics Co., Ltd.(Shenzhen) (‘PolarisIC’) has been successfully selected for the list.

PolarisIC is an innovative company focusing on depth sensing and micro-optical imaging chip design. Based on the SPAD technology developed completely independently, the company has built two major product directions, dToF depth sensing and PCI microlight imaging, with a rich product matrix, and is the first company in China to realise the commercial mass production of SPAD-based image sensors.

At present, PolarisIC has launched a number of high-performance, market-competitive, mass-production-grade products.
